Redefining an Established Day Spa and Laser Center

Client’s objectives
Redefine the existing brand to attract new, upscale clients and capture client loyalty.

Solution and strategy
Envision Works began the day spa and laser center’s transformation by researching what potential customers expect from an upscale spa as well as what the competition offers. As Envision Works created new print ads, refreshed the Web site and even redesigned the spa’s interior, a new image emerged. A membership package was developed to entice spa clients to keep returning for future services with promotions and discounts offered only to elite members. The promotion plan included e-mail marketing, Web optimization, key word placement, print advertising and a TV commercial airing on carefully chosen cable stations watched by the exact target market.

The results
The day spa and laser center has not only increased the number of clients purchasing services, but also has sold more higher-priced services resulting in a higher revenue-per-client average.


Pest Control Company Goes Proactive in Marketing Efforts      

Client’s objective
Move a growing pest control company’s marketing to the next level with professional, proactive efforts and to create a larger presence in the market place.

Solution and strategy
Envision Works began by evaluating current efforts. A new customer friendly website was developed that offers online incentives and provides service information for the next potential customer. A “trade” partnership was established with the major league baseball park and LED signs were created and placed along with bathroom stall posters. A custom mascot was created to attend baseball games and to hand out pest control promotional materials. In addition a charity marketing and PR campaign supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation was developed and launched to appeal to their female customers who tend to be the decision maker for the services offered.

The results
The pest control company has experienced significant sales increases through the new marketing efforts as well as increased exposure from consistent communications and messages. In addition to sales, the increased exposure has enhanced their image and reputation to help in achieving the company’s business strategy and has helped them reach their 50th year in business during a recession.


Kids Just Wanna’ Have Fun at National Children’s Hair Salon

Client’s objective
Create a fun and playful image that brands the unique services offered by this children hair salon and to attract young customers and their parents.

Solution and strategy
Do kids think about getting their hair cut? No! They just want to have a good time. That was the concept behind the ad campaign. A television spot and a print campaign were produced for this national children’s hair salon. Everything about the salon conveys fun – from the décor to the shop with kid merchandise and party packages. Envision Works created an original musical jingle. For talent, we interviewed kids with energy and personality and sent out a “casting call” and recruited more than 20 kids from two top theater schools. The children were to be used for a photo shoot and the TV filming. In addition, they had to learn the jingle and sing it for the audio portion of the commercial.

The results
The result was a creative and eye catching and award winning print campaign that was placed in strategically placed magazines and a high-energy television commercial that conveys exactly what the children’s salon is all about (and who it’s for) using strong visuals and a fun soundtrack. The spot began airing with excellent results on networks chosen to reach their target audience: kids and their moms. These tools were then added to the franchise sales package offered nationally.


Taking an Original Invention from PrimeTime to the Shelves

Client’s objective
Market a new invention to its target audiences for sales.

Solution and strategy
Imagine inventing a new product and getting its first exposure on national network TV during prime time! That’s what happened when a Texas inventor managed to get his invention into the running for a segment on inventions and the patent process on ABC’s PrimeTime news magazine. Not only did the product make it into the running, it was chosen as one of three products featured in the program and given a chance on QVC. After receiving national exposure, the inventor was ready to take the product into the marketplace, but needed help developing materials that were enticing, yet educational about the product and how it works. Envision Works helped the inventor designed product sheets for distributors, created the packaging, developed point-of-sale solutions and updated Web site to match its new national exposure. Envision Works also worked with Sam’s Club to feature the product on their online shopping site.

The results
Envision Works established a professional image for the inventor as well as the product using materials that clearly explained the product so it would appeal to distributors and customers. While working with the inventor, Envision Works also helped turn their national exposure success into local exposure through public relations efforts that resulted in a newspaper feature on the inventor and the product.


Successful Branding for National Insurance Provider

Client’s objective
Create a brand and image that was not confusing for a national insurance company that sells to large organizations, associations and unions.

Solution and strategy
The challenge in creating a brand for this client was in making sense of all of the different components in their business of insurance – health, life, dental and disability. Envision Works began with a new logo and identity set that would set the tone and color-code everything for future marketing and communications materials, including the Web site. The overall strategy for this client was to give them enough different kinds of marketing tools that they could pick and choose and customize for every customer and prospect.

The results
The insurance company is perceived as professional, organized and strong in its business foundation through the brand image created for them and used consistently throughout everything they do. Their communications tools continue to grow with fliers, folders, brochures, direct mail, Web site and advertising – all designed to further their brand and identity.


Top Restaurant Takes Their Tamales Retail

Client’s objective
Expand their famous tamales into the retail market, setting the stage for future products going retail.

Solution and strategy
Working on retail food packaging entailed a lot more than the restaurant bargained for! Envision Works partnered with them and provided tools for research and focus groups. Once strategy was confirmed Envision Works was able to walk them through the process of meeting FDA regulations regarding food packaging, from the kinds of paper that are acceptable to inks and structure. The packaging project included food styling and photography. The final design further the restaurant’s brand and image and appeal to high-end customers who shop in specialty gourmet stores. The end product was a eye appealing package design that the restaurant could use as a template for all future food packaging for retail sale.

The result
From consulting to package design, Envision Works established food packaging that served as the foundation for the well-known restaurant’s introduction into specialty gourmet retail sales and expanding other products into that market for the future. The restaurant’s retail products are available in area high-end gourmet stores in the packages Envision Works designed.
