A Letter From the
Walls...
We want to begin the New Year by expressing
our gratitude for your continued support. From there we wish you
and your family all of God’s blessings in 2008.
We don’t need to rehash what the media has been reporting
as far as a purported mortgage crisis is concerned because there
is no real mortgage crisis (there is a problem in the sub-prime
mortgage market). The housing market in Tarrant County is healthy
as evidenced by local market stats you’ll read in this newsletter.
You’ll also see how The Wall Team has also grown this past
year (see picture).
Our team just finished reading “Built to Serve” by Dan Sanders. Coincidentally,
Mr. Sanders is pictured with the team because he addressed the Colleyville
Chamber of Commerce luncheon earlier this month. We were all thrilled
to meet him because of the many parallels that can be drawn between
The Wall Team and his company’s culture (United Supermarkets),
owner of Market Street. The gist of his message is that business needs to be more about its people and less about the bottom
line.

2008 will bring many other changes in addition
to our new e-newsletter. We’re building a
new web site to enhance client service. We’ll be
involved in numerous community activities and private Christian
school events. We hope when you see our name on a sign,
you’ll pick up the phone and give us a call. Of course, we
will also pick up the phone from our end because we always enjoy
hearing what’s going on in your life.
Talk to you soon,
Larry & Laurie Wall

Realtor vs. "For
Sale By Owner"
"Why do we need a real estate
agent? After all, an agent will charge thousands of dollars to sell
even an average home, and that commission comes right off the top!“"
Many home sellers have similar thoughts, and because so much money
is at stake, these questions deserve some serious thought. In today's world, the sale of real property is not just a marketing
